INDOOR TRAINING & WARM UP

The House of Athletics is located right nex to the main stadium. It is a real powerhouse. It is a house where history unfolds in stunning tales and Olympic titans forge their destinies. For the championships, all participants are welcome to use the indoor arena for training and warm-up. The house will also host many important service functions during the event, such as the Technical Information Center.

The indoor training facilities includes:

  • 200m Track
  • 60m Sprint
  • Long Jump
  • Triple Jump
  • Pole Vault
  • High Jump
  • Shot Put
  • Gym

JAVELIN AND ROTATING THROWS

For javelin and rotating throws, there is an opportunity to train at the throwing field right next to the House of Athletics on 16 August and 21 August between 10:00 and 19:00.

WARM UPS AT BJÖRLANDA ATHLETICS CENTER

There is a warming-up area on the competition track right next to the Call Room. Additionally, there is a gravel jogging track approximately one kilometer long that stretches around the competition venue.

WARM UPS AT ULLEVI STADIUM

There is a dedicated warming-up area located 100m from the dressing rooms and the call room. The surface is asphalt.

FRISKIS & SVETTIS

During the championships, all participants have the opportunity to use their bib numbers for free access to Friskis & Svettis facilities across Gothenburg. Friskis & Svettis provides top-notch fitness facilities and a diverse array of group exercise classes designed to promote health and wellness for all ages and fitness levels.
